Rooms Management 

Room’s management is one of the most important aspects of revenue generation, and requires a high level of operator skills and training. We use both external and internal monitoring systems to ensure that we maximise the business potential of the rooms business. Our room’s strategies are constantly reviewed and modified to ensure that the return is right for the market. 

Sales and Marketing 

These are two separate and distinct areas of the business, and require a good understanding of the local market place that the business is operating in. Large budgets can be used up quickly providing little or no return if not managed carefully. We feel that in today’s digital market social media is an important area to explore and develop. All of our properties will have exposure on all social handles which is managed in conjunction with Yoghurt Top Marketing 

Operational Control 

Effective day-to-day management is crucial to a successful business. We will review all of these aspects to ensure that the focus and energy of the team are directed to the right areas of the business. We ensure that our hotel management teams have the passion, desire and belief to take their part of the business forward. 

Human Resources 

As this is one of the highest areas of cost, we ensure the right people skills, knowledge and controls are in place to develop the business. 
 
We work in partnership with Park City, who are on hand to assist the hotel teams with their HR requirements. 
 
Park City keep us up to date with all changes to employment legislation and ensure contracts and handbooks are updated. 
 

Financial Management 

Accumulus Accounting use best practice financial management tools to ensure the smooth control of the business. All systems are web based with, as far as possible , paperless integrated systems. 
 
This cloud-based software allows hotels to report in real-time. This enables HF to provide up to date information on how the business is performing in a timely fashion to both hotels and owners. 

Group Purchasing 

Ensuring that all purchases for the business are made at best market prices from a list of nominated industry suppliers. Genius Procurement work tirelessly for us to achieve the best prices and also source the correct buying solution for our business. 

Legislation 

Recognising the increasing amount of legislation on the books and the need for any business to be fully up to date with procedures in place to protect its customers, employees and directors, we can support and use external consultants to ensure compliance. 

Building Refurbishment and Development 

We can help identify requirements and develop plans for refurbishments, building works and re-development. Handling the process from planning application through to completion we can identify issues and cost overuns before they become critical and make sure the hotel sees the maximum postitive impact on profitability and the best return on investment.
