Clive Nicholls 
Chief Executive 
Clive has spent his whole working life in the Hospitality Industry. His career began at Hotel School and progressed via Crest Hotels and Europa Hotels. The purchase of his own hotel and the subsequent operation of Barringtons which operated circa 60 hotels for BDO, Arthur Andersen and Deloittes gave him in depth operational knowledge. Clive was responsible for the operations of two further hotel companies before creating HF where he has been the driving force in the expansion of the Client base through his vast network of contacts. His experience and expertise in the business is invaluable in the operations and systems related to hotel management 
David Reading 
Managing Director 
David has had 23 years’ experience in the day to day minutiae of running a successful branded hotel. His career began with the attainment of an HCIMA qualification and an early introduction of Hotel Management with Choice Hotels Europe. This was followed by 7 years at Somerston Hotels (now Atlas Hotels) managing various hotels in their large portfolio. From 2010 he ran the hugely successful Banbury Express preparing it for sale in 2015. His vast knowledge of the day to day running of each of the HF Hotels is an essential part of the HF operations and Rate setting to maximise profits for our clients 
Andrew Sanders 
Regional General Manager 
Andrew has had 22 year's experience in the hotel industry. His career began for Jarvis Hotels and has worked for several leading brands including Accor, IHG, Rezidor, DeVere Hotels, Choice Hotels and Best Western. He joined the team in 2013. His knowledge of brands is key to assisting David Reading and the rest of the HF team in identifying hotels and what brand they should be intergrated into. Andrew has led three projects for our hotels in getting them successfully into the Best Western Brand. He is our project leader on social media and all IT projects, including hotel PMS installations, the design management, and implementation of new websites. He has a very strong revenue management background and assists the HF team in design and implementation of strategies to get the return on investment for our partners. Andrew is the project leader on HF's central marketing platform Hotelfeature.co.uk and has also developed Apple Wallet applications to aid loyalty in our hotels. 
Anna Temple 
Head of Sales 
Anna has worked in hotels and hospitality for over 20 years, both overseas and in the UK, for the past 10 years within the Leisure segment. Anna worked for 8 years for an IHG franchisee as Group Leisure Sales Manager supporting 33 hotels on the FIT/Group/Sporting and Stag/Hen business responsible for over £8,000,000 per annum in revenue. Previously to that working in a 4star Central London hotel looking after their Leisure and FIT sales along with Front Office and Reservations Departments. She offers a wealth of experience and contacts, and gives consultant advice and support on driving Group, FIT and Sporting business into the Hospitality First portfolio of hotels. Anna is passionate about Hotels and the Travel industry as a whole.

Clive Bachmanis  
Clive qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1982 whilst working in Bristol. He moved to London in 1985 and became an Equity Partner in Ferguson Hollis, a firm of Chartered Surveyors with established offices in London, Moscow, Kiev and St.Petersburg. Clive has specialised in all aspects of commercial property including out of Town Leisure, Retail Warehousing, Offices and Hotel Development. He has his own property advisory service. His Knowledge of Property is key to the successfully control of the numerous Facilities Management involved with a substantial real estate portfolio. 
Jim Sutherland 
Jim left Cambridge University in 1975 and begun his property career by joining Guardian Royal Exchange. Following qualifications he later moved to J Henry Schroder Wagg Properties Ltd. After nearly 6 years at the merchant bank, Jim accepted a post at 3i's Commercial Properties Ltd dealing with asset and development management. His later career has involved providing Specialised Project Management Services to various clients in the commercial property and hotel sectors. Jim brings to Hospitality First a combination of financial, property and management skills required to guide the future aspirations of HF to expand its asset and management bases. 
Peter Dempster  
Peter Dempster (D.O.B 29/04/1959) qualified as a solicitor in 1984. He has specialised in property transactions since qualification principally acting for a leading DIY and Electrical Retailers and Developers in the out of town market. He was senior partner in two leading Southampton based firms before setting up Dempster Binning LLP in 2001. Dempster Binning is a boutique property law firm exclusively dealing with commercial development and investment transactions including hotel sales, purchases, management and franchise contracts. 
Rod Lovell  
(Hotel Performance) 
Rod Lovell has been involved in the property industry for the whole of his working life. Between 1997 and 2004 he was Managing Director of Eastlake Hospitality which developed and Managed 5 Holiday Inn Express Hotels. The company was sold to BDL Hotels (now RedefineBDL). For the past 6 years he was seconded to Julian Hodge Bank as their Hotels Asset Manager. In HF RL is responsible for assisting with the analysis and control of Revenue and Cost controls thereby maximising Profit in each hotel.
